Only 4 years away from the legal driving age, Noah Urrea already has a long list of accomplishments under his belt. Shortly after signing to CSED Young Talent agency in 2011, his professional career began.
Noah’s first job was Blake Shelton’s Honey Bee music video. He competed with Blake for the girl’s heart in this charming video.
During the first year he also did several commercials and Print jobs for Mattel, Ben 10, Disney, Kipling and Chrysler.
In 2012, Noah booked his first major part playing Trevor on Adult Swim’s Emmy winning series Children’s Hospital. He starred opposite Henry Winkler, Megan Mullally and Rob Corddry. Shortly after, he booked his first big movie role starring opposite Ashley Judd, Ray Liotta and Seth Green in the feature film The Identical, due to be released 2014. Noah plays young Ryan who grows up to be a 60’s pop icon in the same vein as Elvis. Noah says, “It was amazing to actually be able to sing and act in a major film while surrounded by incredible talent.”
Most recently he can be seen in NBC’s pilot “Mr. Robinson” starring opposite Craig Robinson and Jean Smart. The pilot centers on a rough-edged musician Craig, who is adjusting to his new life as a music teacher in a big-city middle school where he encounters teacher politics and the temptations of single moms.
Due in Theatres December 13, 2013, is the Tyler Perry/Lionsgate film, A Madea Christmas where Noah plays the role of Bailey opposite Tyler Perry, Chad Michael Murphy and Alicia Witt. In this installment of the successful Perry franchise, Madea gets coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas, but the biggest surprise is what they’ll find when they arrive. As the small, rural town prepares for its annual Christmas Carnival, new secrets are revealed and old relationships are tested while Madea dishes her own brand of Christmas Spirit to all. One of Noah’s songs performed in the film will be featured on the movie’s soundtrack.
In addition to acting, Noah started singing at the age of 8. His sister dragged him to a musical theater audition for Annie Get Your Gun and after having one show under his belt, has was hooked. He continued to do another 16 shows for Southern California Youth Theater starring in roles such as the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, LaFue in Beauty and the Beast and his latest theater performance has been in Christmas shows at the Dream Center in LA where he has performed for over 20, 000 people each Christmas.
After winning a full scholarship to the famed Hollywood Launch Academy in Los Angeles, Noah began honing in on his singing, piano, guitar and dancing skills. He can be found performing at Hollywood venues such as House of Blues on Sunset as well as The Mint.
In his spare time he volunteers for the charity End Malaria Now and plays in a local baseball league.
